Frank HeiligFrank Heilig

Bachelor of Sport Science ; Masters of Sport Science

Exercise Physiologist (Accredited Member of Exercise and Sport Science Australia)

My passion for exercise physiology developed during my own rehabilitation after a serious sport injury in 1998. During my studies I worked at the University Gym providing its members with personal training and health and fitness programs. I started my career working at a physiotherapy clinic (SportsMedSaar) attached to the Olympic Training facility (Saarland, Germany).  Having the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, with a wide range of patients including athletes of Team Germany (Jan Frodeno – Triathlon, Marc Zwiebler – Badminton), players of the local football club (1.FC Saarbrücken) and Porsche race car driver Timo Bernhard, enabled me to acquire an extensive knowledge of state-of-the-art rehabilitation methods.
